Writing Resources

MLA, APA, Citations, and Research can all be confusing for writing an academic paper.

Below is a list of resources I have used during my Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.

The Purdue Online Writing Lab – this is an excellent guide for citations, reference pages, quoting, MLA, APA, and AMA styles.

Grammarly – this is a great app to catch those grammar errors. I have used this on many of my papers and it has helped!

Citation Machine – it’s as simple as copying and pasting the site URL. There are various tabs for different sources, web, book, film, etc. Sometimes you may have to manually fill in the blanks but it helps with creating the right citation.

Plagiarism Checker– Copy and paste your text to check for signs of plagiarism. It will provide links to articles it believes are similar to your text.

I will update this as I come across more resources.
